Engine Top Overhauling

The top overhauling tasks involved in an engine overhaul include: replacing piston rings, inspecting and replacing bearings, inspecting and replacing valves and valve seats, replacing seals and gaskets, replacing timing components, inspecting and replacing the crankshaft, and honing the cylinder walls. Other tasks may include cleaning and replacing fuel injectors, inspecting and replacing spark plugs, adjusting the carburetor, and inspecting the oil pump. The engine should also be tested to ensure that it is running properly after the overhaul.

AC Alternator Overhauling

AC Alternator Service

AC alternator service in engine overhauling typically involves inspecting the alternator for any signs of wear or damage, replacing any worn or broken parts, and cleaning, lubricating, and testing the alternator to make sure it is working properly. Additionally, the service may include checking the voltage regulator, replacing the drive belt or pulley, and adjusting the drive belt tension. Finally, the alternator may need to be re-calibrated and tested to ensure it is providing the correct output.

Rotor Major Winding

Removing the alternator from the engine, inspecting the rotor for signs of wear or damage, replacing any defective components, and rewinding the rotor with new wire. Additionally, we check the rotor for proper ohmic resistance and inspect the winding for any signs of open or short circuits. Finally, the rotor is be reassembled and tested to ensure correct operation before being reinstalled into the engine.

Stator Major Winding

inspecting the stator and winding for any damage or wear, cleaning the windings and core, testing with a megger to check for any insulation issues, winding the stator with new wire, and soldering any connections. Once the stator is rewound, it needs to be cleaned and then reinstalled into the engine.
